Where does the leather we use come from?
No animal is raised or killed for its skin!
Leather for leather goods is a by-product of the food industry . Without tanning, millions of tons of raw hides would become waste, generating a significant environmental impact. Every year, tanneries around the world recover approximately 1,700 km² of raw hides (8 million tons) , thus avoiding the production of over 5 million tons of greenhouse gases .
Can the same be said of synthetic materials in PVC or PU , often mistakenly defined as “eco-friendly” but created from scratch through highly polluting chemical processes?

The leather lasts over time, reducing the environmental impact
One of the great benefits of leather is its durability . Unlike many synthetic materials that deteriorate quickly, a quality leather product can last for decades , reducing the need for frequent replacements and reducing the overall environmental impact.
Technological innovation is also making the tanning industry increasingly sustainable:
- Recovery and reuse of waste in sectors such as agriculture, construction, cosmetics and food.
- Vegetable tanning processes and use of natural dyes, reducing harmful chemicals.
Adoption of renewable energy and reduction of water consumption and emissions.

Our commitment to sustainability
The leathers we use come exclusively from certified Tuscan tanneries , which respect the highest environmental standards and are committed to:
✓ Reduce water consumption and improve wastewater treatment
✓ Minimize the use of chemicals in the tanning process
✓ Recover solid waste , transforming it into new raw materials
All our materials and products are 100% Made in Italy , our suppliers are Italian, mainly Tuscan. This approach allows us to reduce the environmental impact of transport and support true Italian craftsmanship

Responsible production and zero waste
- We produce only on demand, reducing stock, waste and leftovers . For this reason, our shipments take up to 5 working days .
- We use recycled cotton linings to reduce the use of virgin raw materials.
- We recycle waste, transforming it into small leather goods such as key rings and card holders
- We reintegrate waste into the production cycle: thanks to new technologies, specialized companies reduce leather to powder by mixing it with plant-based polymers to create innovative materials, composed of over 60% real leather .
A circular system for a sustainable future
Recover, reuse, transform: our goal is to give new life to waste, reducing the environmental impact to a minimum and enhancing a valuable raw material through increasingly innovative and sustainable processes.
Choosing leather means choosing quality, durability and respect for the environment.
